City of Eureka is taking steps to suspend many of its public gatherings
throughout the City. The decision follows recommendations from the
California Department of Public Health to slow the spread of the

Our mission is to provide for and enhance the quality of life and spirit of the community with a wide variety of recreational programs and services. The department consists of the Parks Division, Harbor & Public Marina, Facility Maintenance, Sequoia Park Zoo, Environmental Programs, Waterfront Trails and Recreation Division.
The Adorni Center will be closed starting Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Due to the recent increase of COVID-19 cases Humboldt County has been moved into the Purple Tier. The Adorni Center will remain closed while in the Purple Tier, with a tentative reopening date of Monday, January, 11, 2021.
